A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries after being assaulted by two men wearing balaclavas in a Tesco in what police describe as a targeted attack.
The alarming incident occurred at the Tesco Express store near Epsom Station on Sunday evening, just before 9 pm. Graphic images from inside the small shop depict bloodstains covering the floor of the supermarket.
Following the assault, two men, described as White and 5ft 6 tall, fled the store wearing black tops and balaclavas.
The victim, in his 20s, was taken to the hospital, where his injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.
