A body retrieved from the River Thames has been officially identified as Abdul Ezedi, who succumbed to drowning.
His cause of death was verified after a post-mortem examination conducted on Wednesday.
Ezedi’s family received notification after his formal identification on Thursday.
His former girlfriend and mother of two were attacked with a corrosive substance, along with her children aged eight and three, in Clapham, southwest London, last month.
