A small aircraft with five people aboard crashed into a motorway near Naples, Florida, resulting in the deaths of at least two individuals. The Bombardier Challenger 600 jet made a crash landing on Interstate 75 at approximately 3.15 pm on Friday, as per the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

At present, it remains unclear whether the aircraft collided with vehicles or if there were any casualties on the ground. Footage and images depicted the aircraft engulfed in flames, with smoke emanating from the congested motorway.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the fatalities of two individuals aboard the aircraft.

According to the Daily Mail, a spokesperson from Naples Airport stated that the remaining three occupants survived, although their conditions are presently unknown.
