Woman’s body found after armed police swoop on address

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder by armed police after a woman’s body was found.

The body was discovered at a property in Pembroke Dock in Wales as cops swarmed the area.

A large number of police officers, including armed personnel, were seen swooping down on the address this morning on Military Road.

The arrested man is currently in custody. Enquiries are ongoing, but officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this time.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: “Dyfed-Powys Police has launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body at an address in Military Road, Pembroke Dock this morning.

“One man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. The incident led to a large police presence, including armed officers, in Military Road this morning.

“Enquiries are ongoing and police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation at this time.
