Nashawn Breedlove, the 8 MILE star and battle rapper, has passed away at his home in New Jersey at the age of 46.
He was best known for his role as Lotto opposite Eminem in the 2002 film. Nashawn passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, as reported by TMZ.
The cause of his death is yet to be determined. In the film 8 Mile, which loosely depicted Eminem’s life, Nashawn played a significant role. One of the most memorable moments was when his character, Lotto, engaged in a rap battle against Eminem’s B-Rabbit.
