Schoolboy found injured near supermarket sparking major police probe

A teenager has been found injured near an Edinburgh Morrisons sparking a major police probe.

The 14-year-old boy was hospitalised after an incident on Waterfront Broadway.

Mercy crews raced to the scene after the alarm was raised at around 4.50pm.

Ambulance workers then rushed the boy to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Now cops are investigating the incident and remain at the scene.

The street as been cordoned off while enquires continue.

Police Scotland said: “Police were called around 4.50pm following the report of a male youth who had sustained injuries on Waterfront Broadway, Edinburgh.
