A man has been urgently taken to hospital following a severe assault in the city centre of Glasgow.
In the early hours of this morning, emergency services swiftly responded to the incident on Gordon Street. Upon receiving the distress call at approximately 3:35 am, officers promptly arrived at the location near Glasgow Central Station.
Upon arrival, they discovered an injured man lying on the street. He was immediately transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary in an ambulance.
Medical professionals have described his condition as serious. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the assault.
