A man has been charged with murder following the stabbing death of a mother in front of her children. Perseverance Ncube, 35, was pursued out of her Salford residence during a frenzied attack in the early hours of Friday morning.
In a frightening episode witnessed by her two children, Perseverance, also known as ‘Persy’ to friends, tried to escape for her life. Regrettably, the mother sustained a single fatal stab wound to the chest before collapsing in the street. Authorities have subsequently filed charges against Obert Moyo, 45, for her murder.
Horrified neighbours recounted how Persy’s son then lay by her side until the police were summoned to Little Hulton, Worsley, around 2.40 am.
Persy was swiftly taken to the hospital, where she was tragically pronounced dead shortly after.
