A man and two children have lost their lives in a tragic accident involving a BMW and a lorry.
The collision occurred on the A5 near Burbage in Leicestershire, just before 4.30 pm on Friday. The male driver of the car, aged in his 30s, and a nine-year-old boy were declared deceased at the accident site.
Two other passengers, a woman in her 30s, and a four-year-old girl, were swiftly transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, the young girl passed away shortly thereafter.
The woman remains in the hospital, her condition described as ‘serious but stable,’ according to Leicestershire Police.
Thankfully, the lorry driver escaped the crash without serious injuries.
