Iconic Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest footballer, Chris Bart-Williams, has passed away.
The esteemed ex-Premier League player, who had been residing in the US in recent times, died at the tender age of 49.
Sheffield Wednesday expressed their profound sorrow in a statement, stating, “We are profoundly saddened by the loss of our former player, Chris Bart-Williams.”
Coincidentally, on the same day, another notable figure from Nottingham Forest, former forward, and England football legend, Trevor Francis, also passed away at the age of 69.
