A body has been discovered in the hunt for a missing teenager, who disappeared five days ago.
Eric Lin, aged 14, was reported missing from his residence in Manchester, prompting an urgent search operation.
Yesterday afternoon, authorities confirmed the distressing discovery, although they emphasized that a formal identification process is yet to be carried out.
The body was found in Warrington, Cheshire, approximately 20 miles away from Beswick, where Eric was last seen.
Cheshire Police, in collaboration with Greater Manchester Police, took charge of the investigation as it is believed that he may have traveled there by bus.
There are no suspected suspicious circumstances, and Eric’s family has been notified.
