Four killed and two children injured after gunman goes on horror rampage

A suspect is under arrest following a mass shooting in Pennsylvania that claimed the lives of four individuals. The perpetrator unleashed gunfire in the Kingsessing area of Philadelphia on Monday night, marking the 29th instance of a mass killing in the United States this year.

The identities of the four victims have not yet been released to the public. However, Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw disclosed that they were all males, with three falling within the age range of 20 to 59, and one between 16 and 21 years old.

During the shooting, two boys, aged two and 13, sustained injuries and are currently in a stable condition receiving treatment at a hospital. Numerous shell casings were discovered at the scene, and law enforcement officers reported hearing additional gunshots while attending to the victims.

The suspect was apprehended in an alleyway at the location. Upon arrest, he was found in possession of a bulletproof vest, multiple magazines, an AR-type rifle, a handgun, and a police scanner.

The alleged gunman has been identified as a 40-year-old man, and another individual has been detained in relation to the assault.
