A British Speedway star, Charles Wright, endured a harrowing crash while competing for Sparta Wroclaw in Poland over the weekend.
The incident occurred when he clipped the back wheel of a competitor’s bike while approaching the first bend, causing him to lose control of his own bike and hurtle into the barriers at high speed.
As a result of this terrifying crash, the 34-year-old was promptly transported to the hospital. He has sustained fractures to his spine and ribs, as well as injuries to his neck, chest, and arm. At present, he is described as “not very mobile” due to the severity of his injuries.
