Steve Harper, a legendary figure in Newcastle, has been hospitalized due to a brain haemorrhage. The iconic Toon goalkeeper experienced a subarachnoid haemorrhage on Monday and was swiftly admitted to the hospital.
Fortunately, at 48 years old, Harper is awake and on the path to recovery.
In a show of solidarity and support, his former club released a statement expressing their well wishes, saying, “Newcastle United is sending love and best wishes to Steve Harper and his family after the club’s Academy director suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage on Monday.
