SEVERAL people are feared injured after a car mounted the pavement and ploughed into pedestrians in London.
Dramatic images show a car with its bonnet smashed into a tree on the busy pavement in Hackney.
Police confirmed the horror this morning is not terror related.
They say no arrests have been made and they are awaiting an update on injuries.
A spokesperson added: “Police and London Ambulance Service are in attendance at a collision in Stamford Hill, N16.
“A car is reported to have mounted the pavement and struck a number of pedestrians.
“Anyone with information, video or images that could assist police are asked to call 101 ref CAD/1782.”
Drivers are now being urged to avoid the area between Clapton Common and Cazenove Road.
