Bodies of 2 newborn babies found in bin bag inside daycare centre bathroom

Two recently born infants have tragically been discovered deceased inside a refuse bag at a daycare centre in Chicago.

Yesterday evening, a cleaning crew made the distressing find in the facility’s bathroom located on the Northwestern Memorial Hospital campus in Streeterville.

In addition to the infants, a woman was also found at the centre. She was promptly transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for medical attention regarding unspecified injuries.

“Chicago police have launched investigations into the deaths of two newborn girls found lifeless in a childcare centre bathroom in Streeterville,” stated the police in an official statement.

“Dispatchers informed responding officers that the babies were inside a trash bag. When emergency personnel arrived, the infants were not breathing.”

The girls were rushed to Lurie Children’s Hospital, where they were subsequently pronounced deceased.

“Area Three detectives are leading the investigation, initially categorised as endangering the lives or health of children,” the police added.
