BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty slammed co-star Charlie Stayt for “ignoring her” again as he left the sofa during their live broadcast.
The BBC presenter, 47, was accused of having a “diva style meltdown” by one viewer, after she called for the filming crew to find her telly partner in crime.
Naga was forced to present a section of the news show alone after Charlie went rogue.
He had left BBC Breakfast’s Salford Quays studio for a segment on cycling, donning a helmet and picking up a bike in the process.
Yet after the interview finished, he could be seen cycling away, surrounded by the area’s stunning water.
This led Naga to protest: “Mr Stayt, are you coming back in the studio?”
She continued: “He’s ignoring me again, he’s ignoring me – can someone go out and get him please?
“He’s still got one and half hours of broadcasting to do.”
With a telling nod to camera, she then warned: “He will be back – trust me.”
Fans were quick to react, with one writing on Twitter: “Naga Munchetty having a right old diva style meltdown #bbcbreakfast.”
Another copied Naga’s words and added: “‘Can someone go out and get him, can someone go out and get him, can someone go out and get him?’
“Naga is flogging a dead horse of a joke.”
Meanwhile others were more concerned about Charlie’s hair.
One added: “Well it will take an hour in makeup for Charlie to get his hair sorted after the helmet wearing. #BBCBreakfast.”
Another wrote: “When Charlie takes off his cycle helmet, how long will it take to readjust his hair? #bbcbreakfast.”
Naga’s comments came after she previously took a swipe at Charlie for “annoying” her.
The duo were also called out by fans during another show for “wasting time” in their live broadcast.
