8-year-old girl attacked by 2 bull terriers while she played as police hunt dog owner

An eight-year-old girl has been assaulted by a pair of bull terrier dogs while playing. The police are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they attempt to locate the owner of the pets.

The girl sustained injuries while playing on a scooter in Lily Park, situated in Redcar, North Yorkshire. A man, described as white and having a large build, entered the park with two sizable white dogs, believed to be bull terriers, on lime green leashes.

Subsequently, the girl rushed to her mother and informed her that she had been bitten, resulting in a cut on her thigh and bruising.

Cleveland Police have recently issued an alert, disclosing details about the incident that occurred on June 19 at approximately 3:30 PM.

The authorities stated, “Officers would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may possess information regarding the identity of the man with the dogs.”
