Two individuals have been apprehended following an incident in Norwich where a woman fell from a first-floor flat, sustaining severe injuries. The victim, a woman in her 40s, plummeted from a considerable height, resulting in her injuries.
Norfolk Constabulary has confirmed that a man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH). The police received the call about the incident at Johnson Place around 9:45 am on Sunday, September 10.
A police spokesperson provided an update, stating, “The victim – a woman aged in her 40s – suffered serious injuries in the fall and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.”
The female suspect has been transported to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, while the man has been taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for the same purpose. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
