16 year-old-boy bludgeoned 2 sleeping pupils with hammer at £41k school

THREE individuals – including two students – sustained serious injuries in a suspected hammer assault at a prestigious fee-paying independent school. The distressing incident took place at Blundell’s School in Tiverton, Devon, which charges an annual fee of £41,000.

It is reported that a teenager attacked two boarding students with a hammer. A housemaster was also reported to have been injured.

The teenager was apprehended by the police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently undergoing questioning. Following the incident that occurred at 1 am yesterday, the three alleged victims were promptly transported to the hospital while the police swiftly arrived at the school.

Former student and winner of “I’m a Celebrity,” Georgia Toffolo, is counted among the school’s alumni.

In addition to the police presence, three ambulances, an air ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, and hazardous area response teams were dispatched to the scene.

Authorities stated that the three individuals are receiving treatment for “multiple serious injuries.” The housemaster has since been discharged from the hospital.
