Wicked Mum who let partner rape daughter disowned by family

A “wicked” mum who let her husband repeatedly rape her daughter – impregnating her three times – has been disowned by her family who “want to knock her out”.

Mary-Louisa Andrews, 50, allowed Anokye Andrews to abuse her daughter between the ages of nine and 16.

She was sentenced to a three-year prison sentence and now her disgusted family, from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, have expressed their horror at the heinous act.

Mary-Louisa Andrews’ father only said: “I never want to see her again.”

And Stefan Gray, the woman’s brother, told Sun Online: “Obviously if I had known what was happening I would have knocked her out. It is shocking.

“I love my niece to pieces and so does my dad. We are really gutted that this has all taken place without us knowing and it has devastated us.”

Anokye Andrews, from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, was jailed for 20 years for the abuse.

The 44-year-old was described in court as an evil and wicked stepfather.

Mr Gray added: “I feel disgusted. I’ll tell you I’d be glad if I never see my sister again and I think my dad feels the same.

“I think Ag’s [Anoyke] sentence reflects what happened to my niece, I think it’s justified, but my sister only got three years.”

The girl fell pregnant three times – aged 12 on the first occasion – during the reign of abuse.

She was forced to undergo a number of abortions but the abuse continued, a court heard.

Mary-Louisa Andrews wept when she was jailed this week at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Sentencing, Judge Francis Sheridan told her: “The tears you shed are for yourself.

“I do not think any of them are for your daughter. I am not in any way influenced.

You have not shown any sign of remorse.

“It is time somebody told you to your face – and I will: You were a wicked mother.

“When your daughter complained, her complaints were dismissed.

“You will take that dismissal to the grave. You betrayed your daughter to stand by your husband.”

The abuse began during a family holiday in Southport, Merseyside.

And addressing Andrews, the judge said: “You were a thoroughly evil and wicked step-father. Let’s call it exactly what it is. That is the finding of the jury.

“The jury believed your stepdaughter. That is her first step to recovery from a life of hell inflicted by you, with the sex drive of a monster.

“You treated your step-daughter as an object. If you wanted sexual contact, she had to deliver and the poor little thing was scared to say anything and when she did, her complaints were dismissed.”

The girl, who is now 28, has waived her legal right to anonymity.
