Two teenagers murdered 12 minutes apart during rush hour

A TEENAGER was shot dead in a London car park at tea time today – just 12 minutes after another teen was knifed to death.

Police were first called to Deeside Road, in Wandsworth, at 4.42pm, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a teen in a critical condition.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene.

Just 12 minutes later the victim of the shooting was found with critical injuries on Hartville Road, Plumstead. He died at the scene a short while later.

No arrests have been made, and Scotland Yard said residents can expect an enhanced police presence in both areas.

Police are working to notify the victims’ next of kin as soon as possible.

Post-mortem examinations will be held in due course.

Police are appealing for anyone with information on what happened to call them urgently on 101 quoting CAD reference 5877/14June for the fatal stabbing and 6004/14June for the shooting.
