Two little boys, found wandering streets in pyjamas miles from home after frantic police search

TWO little boys were found wandering the streets in their pyjamas several miles from home today.

Cops launched a frantic search for the children, aged nine and ten, after they were reported missing this morning in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

The youngsters had walked out their home in the village of Dunragit, near Stranraer, in just their pyjamas.

Officers released a description of the boys and revealed they were new to the area.

Cops later revealed the children had been found safe “several miles” away.

Locals took to social media to tell of their relief following the discovery.

One said: “Thank goodness. So much evil going on in this world.”

Another added: “Great news. Fills you with absolute panic when they’re missing.”

Police Scotland said in a statement “Police officers from Stranraer are currently searching for two children who have been reported missing in this morning.

“The children are 9 and 10 year old boys and left their home in Dunragit in their pyjamas.

“One child has short dark hair and is wearing black pyjamas.

“The second is has ginger hair and is wearing a navy blue onesie.

“The boys are new to the area and are not familiar with the village or surrounding area.

Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0642 of June 4.”
