Do you wake up every morning and think I just fancy driving a go kart around a track? Probably not, let’s be honest. But we bet if there happened to be a track next to your house you would.
Yep, that’s right – you could be the proud owner of your very own go karting business if you bought this traditional cottage in Castlefinn, County Donegal, Ireland.
From the front and the inside it is a quaint-looking two-bedroom cottage with a country-style kitchen and fuel stove. There’s a Belfast sink, cast iron radiators and exposed brick.
But from the back it’s your very own go karting track which can be used as a commercial race track. So you can make money and have fun, what’s there not to love?!
And for offers around the €325,000 (£292,000/$366,000) mark – it could be yours.
According to the Irish Mirror, the track, which measured 1,000 metres in length, has been designed so that users can reach speeds of up to 55 miles per hour.
We’re sure you’re not worrying about where people will park because there are much more pressing matters – like how you can jazz up your own go kart – but if you did happen to be concerned about parking, the property comes with a fully functioning car park.
There are also other outhouses that can be developed. We’re not quite sure whether this means you could build an ice-skating rink, petting farm or home for the karts but either way, it sounds fun.
If go karting isn’t really your thing and you’d rather impress people with a unique bar this country retreat with it’s very own pirate ship might be more suited.
It’s slightly more expensive (£1.25 million) alright, and the rest. But the Gloucestershire does have five bedrooms, twelve acres of grounds and eleven stables. Did someone say petting farm?
The real highlight is quite obviously the property’s pirate ship complete with it’s treasure island and lake. The ship is set over two decks and even has its own watch tower, cabin and even a BBQ and bar.
Julia Boehn from Andrew Grant Country Homes who are selling the property said: “It was bespoke hand built by the current owners, the pond came first, and they then decide to add the ship.
“It has bit used for kids and adults’ parties as contains a BBQ area and bar. The ship is half in the water and half on land.
“It’s suited to someone with an interest in horses or an equestrian. It also has good commuter links. Current owners run a livery yard.”
