TOBY Carvery is showing their support for the armed forces this Saturday by offering them a free carvery or breakfast.
This special offer is to honour members of the Army, Navy and RAF as part of Armed Forces Day 2019, which falls on the 29th June.
In order to redeem the free meal, military personnel need to download a voucher on the Toby Carvery websiteand present it in the restaurant along with their military ID.
The voucher allows for only one free main meal or breakfast. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is not valid for king size roasts.
Toby Carvery is aiming to give away a total of 10,000 free meals to celebrate them on Armed Forces Day. They are keen to build on the success from last year where they saw 7,000 meals claimed on the special day.
Mike Aldridge, operations director and former Royal Marine, said: “Armed Forces Day is the perfect opportunity for us to come together in showing support for our heroes and giving them a huge thank you for their service.
“The response to the offer over the last few years has been absolutely fantastic, and we’re keen achieve our Toby 10K Challenge by hitting our target of serving at least 10,000 free meals to armed forces members.
“We’re proud to support the incredible men and women in the armed forces and a meal on us is just a small way for us to show our gratitude!”
All year round Toby Carvery will also be offering a 20 per cent discount to Defence Discount Service and Blue Light Card holders across all of its restaurants.
The carvery chain also has an ongoing commitment to the welfare of armed forces and they have recently begun a partnership with Care after Combat to help support veterans.
