THE VOICE UK crowned Molly Hocking as the winner of the eighth series of the ITV singing competition after weeks of blind auditions, battle rounds, knockouts and the final live shows, leaving Olly Murs as the winning coach.
Molly Hocking was crowned champion of this evening’s The Voice UK final, winning over viewers of the ITV singing show to secure the title of champion, taking the crown from last year’s star, Ruti Olajugbagbe.
With Jennifer Hudson’s, 37, and will.i.am’s, 44, teams knocked out of the show during last week’s semi-final, the competition tonight was purely between Sir Tom Jones, 78, and Olly Murs, 34.
The winner managed to face off incredible performances from fellow finalists including team Olly members Jimmy Balito as well as Sir Tom’s remaining acts Deana and Bethzienna Williams.
Host Emma Willis, 43, announced Molly as champion after each act performed a song on their own to begin the show, as well as joining their coach for a very special duet.
