The Voice 2019: ‘So sorry’ Emma Willis apologises over impromptu comment

THE VOICE 2019 final aired this evening and it seemed fans were thrilled by the exciting ITV show, including Emma Willis, who cracked one of the ultimate puns earlier tonight.

The Voice UK concluded this evening and it saw some incredible performances from the finalists.

Bethzienna Williams was among the four remaining acts who knocked it out of the park.

The Barry Island star performed The Weeknd’s Call Out My Name and the routine saw her smash through a glass wall.

When she finished, Bethzienna caught up with Emma Willis for some reassurance and it seemed she was a little concerned about the risky choreography.

The singer admitted: “I feel a lot more emotional than I’ve ever felt through any other rounds.

“Breaking out of the glass – that was worrying!”

Cheeky Emma saw an opportunity and decided to show off her pun abilities.

“You smashed it,” she quickly muttered.

Emma then turned to the camera and worriedly said how sorry she was for the joke.

But the audience loved it and gave her a big warm cheer.

Nevertheless, viewers were loving Bethzienna’s performance and flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One said: “Properly love @Bethzienna she’s like the UKs answer to Lady Gaga.”

A second shared: “@Bethzienna is bringing her powerful Welsh spirit to this strong performance x.”

A third added: “Oh damn! @Bethzienna singing one of my favourite songs of all time she ain’t here to play any games.”

A fourth commented: “Bethzienna is the best so far.
