Prince Harry and Jeremy Corbyn should ‘grow up’ over Donald Trump ‘snub,’

The panelists of Loose Women slammed the responses of both Prince Harry and Jeremy Corbyn to President Donald Trump, who is currently on state-visit to England.

Prince Harry was accused of being ‘immature and rude’ after appearing to ignore the President during his tour of Buckingham Palace on Monday.

While Jeremy Corbyn is expected to address thousands of demonstrators at an anti-Trump rally in London today.

As Mr Trump and his wife Melania were taken to view Buckingham Palace’s picture gallery on Monday, Prince Harry was photographed stood at the back of the room with a face like thunder.

Their meeting came after Mr Trump called Meghan Markle ‘nasty’ after she criticised his presidential campaign in 2016.

Speaking on Loose Women, Janet Street Porter fumed: “I think [Harry] should grow up.

“The taxpayer contributes to his upkeep and he should have just been dignified,” she added.

While Coleen Nolan argued that if Prince Harry felt that strongly about Mr Trump he should have just stayed at home.

While Ruth Langsford said of Meghan, who did not attend the meeting with the Trumps, “You married into our royal family and that’s what they do. You are the hosts.”

The stars of the lunchtime show also criticised Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s decision to join an anticipated 25,000 protesters at an anti-Trump rally in London today.

Ruth slammed the decision as ‘hugely disprespectuful.’

“Whatever you think of the man you have to put that aide. This is the democratically elected President of the United States our greatest ally who is here for the D-Day anniversary,” she said.

However, Janet disagreed saying she was behind Jeremy Corbyn’s right to protest.

She also praised the baby blimp of Trump set to fly across the capital.

“We have a long tradition of satire in this country,” said Janet.

I’m not saying i agree with [Corbyn’s] politics or his party but I agree with his right to protest,” she added.

Prince Harry’s meeting with the president came after Mr Trump branded Meghan “nasty” because she called him “divisive” and “misogynistic” during his 2016 presidential campaign.

An onlooker at the gallery said: “ Prince Harry certainly appeared to keep his distance from the president and the First Lady, during the walk round of the royal collection.

“He stayed at the back of the room for the entire time, rocking back on his heels looking totally uninterested.”

Meghan avoided an embarrassing meeting with Mr Trump as she only gave birth to her and Harry’s first child Archie four weeks ago.

The Prince had attended a lunch with the President and his entourage before the gallery trip, but he was not at a lavish banquet for him at the Palace later.
