NTAs viewers in tears over disabled Emmerdale star’s ‘inspirational’ speech

National Television Awards viewers were left in tears this evening over Emmerdale actor James Moore’s “inspirational” acceptance speech

the actor, who plays Ryan Stocks, won Best Newcomer at the NTAs.

Clearly delighted, he was carried to the stage by a pal and ended up falling over on stage.

But that didn’t stop him from making a speech that left viewers in tears.

One tweeted: “Omg this makes me so happy and I’m crying like a bloody happy . Congratulations again @jamesmooreactor . What a bloody supportive cast @emmerdale is #emmerdale #NTAS.”

While another remarked: “James is an absolute credit to the show and he is a complete inspiration to so many. So happy that he won this award ❤ Totally and utterly deserved! #NTAs.”

Earlier in the show, Piers Morgan left viewers in hysterics with his “thunderous” face this evening.

The Good Morning Britain host looked furious as Good Morning Britain was beaten by This Morning in the Best Daytime Show category.

Viewers flocked to Twitter in tears of laughter.
