New neighbours for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have some new neighbours after a set of travellers set up camp near their new home.

Some 15 vehicles parked on the grass outside Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor, where Meghan and Harry are living with their newborn son Archie.

Five caravans pulled up on the green, along with a range of pick-up trucks and cars, yesterday afternoon.

Police and security guards soon arrived at the scene and the group left within an hour, according to The Sun .

It is believed the same group had been booted off another site in Windsor earlier in the afternoon.

Witness Jeff Healey, 64, said: “I was having a drink in the pub when they started pulling up on The Long Walk.

“They realised they couldn’t stay when police arrived. It probably took under an hour.”

One local added: “If there’s one place you don’t want to park your caravan it’s the Queen’s back garden.”

A police spokesman told the newspaper that officers were called to the scene at around 2.50pm over an unauthorised camp in Kings Road, Windsor.

Thames Valley Police confirmed that the travellers had left the site.
