Michael Ball mocked for ‘destroying’ Susan Boyle duet on Britain’s Got Talent

Susan Boyle made a surprise appearance on Britain’s Got Talent but viewers claimed that her return was ruined by Michael Ball.

Ten years after she was crowned the runner-up in 2009, Susan was joined on stage by the crooner to sing The Greatest Showman song A Million Dreams.

The pair have teamed up in celebration of her ten-year career to record the track, but viewers criticised the live performance suggesting that they’d never rehearsed together before.

“Watching BGT @SusanBoyle is amazing!! No idea what key @mrmichaelball thinks that song was played in! He actually ruined that performance!” one angry Twitter user wrote

Another said: “Have @mrmichaelball and @SusanBoyle ever rehearsed together? Awful. They still got a standing ovation from the sycophantic judges.”

“@BGT what a shame @mrmichaelball didn’t compliment your performance @SusanBoyle!! No need for a duet here Michael! All for people taking an opportunity – but that was shamelessly woeful,” one fumed.

“Why do Susan Boyle and Michael Ball sound like they didn’t rehearse? They look so uncomfortable there. Not a good song choice for their voice…painful to listen to,” added another.
