Meghan Markle’s job title has been revealed on baby Archie’s birth certificate.
Giving her name as “Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex,” she listed her occupation as “Princess of the United Kingdom” on the official document.
It is the same title Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, listed on George, Charlotte and Louis’ birth certificates.
Meghan is a former actress, well known for her role as Rachel Zane – a lawyer – in American drama Suits.
She was on the show for seven years and fans of were heartbroken to lose her from the cast when she decided to give up her television career in favour of dedicating herself to her new royal duties.
Meghan’s son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor’ s birth was registered by her husband the Duke of Sussex today.
The certificate confirmed the place of birth as the Portland Hospital and dismissed speculation that Meghan had a home birth at Frogmore Cottage .
Archie, the seventh in line to the throne and an eighth great-grandchild for the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, arrived at 5.26am on May 6, weighing 7lb 3oz.
Harry announced to the world his wife had given birth to a boy and could not hide his happiness at becoming a father for the first time, to a baby he said was “absolutely to-die-for”.
The Duke and Duchess then made an appearance with their son two days later, telling media how he had a calm, sweet temperament.
Meghan spoke of how happy she felt and said she had ‘the best two guys in the world’.
