There could be a few cosy, snow days in on the horiszon.
Love it or hate it – snow has been predicted to start falling this month with warnings that some parts of the country could see similar conditions to when the Beast from the East swept in last winter.
Some meteorologists are warning of a monster storm arriving by the end of the month – and now some have been brave enough to predict the exact days it will snow.
Other weather experts, meanwhile, are predicting some snow – but don’t reckon it will be quite as bad as last year.
Although the weather doesn’t seem too chilly at the moment this could all change within the next couple of weeks.
The Met Office predicts there is a risk of colder weather and snow across the UK towards the end of the month but when can we expect to see the first snow in London?
Experts at Accuweather have predicted when we’re likely to see snow.
All forecasts are correct as of 6pm on January 13, 2019.
Central London can expect a little snow on the morning of January 23, 2019
Snow is then expected to fall in London on the following dates:
Friday, January 25
Tuesday, January 29
Monday, February 4
Tuesday, February 5
Wednesday, February 6
Saturday, February 9
However, some parts of London have been forecast to see more days of snow than others
Here are the predictions for snowfall around London up until February 9 2019.
In the West London borough of Hounslow we are likely to see snow a little later than January 23 as the weather experts predict the first signs of snow will be on the afternoon of Friday, January 25.
It’s expected to return on January 29, February 4, February 5, February 6 and February 9.
Given how close they are expect snow on similar days in Hillingdon, Ealing, Harrow and Richmond.
Let’s not talk about whether Bromley is in London or Kent, we will save that subject for another day.
Right now, it’s all about the weather.
Snow has been predicted to start falling in Bromley on January 23, and continues throughout the week for four days on the trot.
It will then return on January 29, February 4, February 5 and February 9.
If we are going to see snow in the likes of Croydon, Merton, Sutton, Bexley and Greenwich those days should also be your best bet.
The East London borough of Tower Hamlets is also expected to first feel snow on January 23.
The white stuff will then make an appearance in the area again on January 25, January 29, February 4, February 5, February 6 and February 9.
Expect a similar pattern in the likes of Newham, Redbridge, Havering, and Barking and Dagenham.
Wednesday January 23 seems to be day to pin your hopes on as the North London borough of Camden will also feel the white stuff on this day.
Snow is also expected to make an appearance on January 25, January 29, February 4, February 5, February 6 and February 9.
