Animal lovers will know all too well that having a furry friend of your own means not only are you woken up every morning by them asking for food, and haunted by their hairs all over your clothes, but you’ll also splash out more money than you care to admit on different toys and snacks for them.
So we were pleased to see that Lidl has finally got in on the action, with the bargain supermarket about to start selling a special chair designed especially for cats.
Setting you back a very decent £12.99, the cosy chair is the perfect seat for cats to curl up after a long day of sleeping, eating and occasionally trying to catch things in the garden.
Lidl’s Zoofari cat chair also easily folds up for space-saving storage, and comes with a removable and washable cover, as well as a three year warranty.
Set to launch in the middle of Lidl this Thursday (27th), there’s only a limited amount available, so you’ll need to hurry up if you want one for your own feline housemate.
Don’t have a Lidl near you? While we can’t find anything identical online, we did find some pretty decent alternatives on Amazon, including a cat hammock for £7.99, a cosy seat up a scratching post for £11.99 and the seat that we’d bagsy if we were a cat: a mini sofa that attaches to the radiator for £7.99. Genius.
But being pet week at Lidl, a foldable cat armchair isn’t the only thing animal lovers will be lusting after at Lidl from Thursday onwards.
As they’re also selling pet carriers for £12.99, dog pools for £29.99 and dog harnesses for £3.99. But perhaps our favourite thing of the lot is Lidl’s summer dog bed – complete with dog shade – for £19.99 .
Everything launches in Lidl stores across the country this Thursday, but will only be available while stocks last, and sadly, you can’t buy any of the items online. So elbows at the ready…
