Katie Price forced to rehome £1k dog as he posed threat to himself and her kids

Katie Price has rehomed the Alsatian puppy she bought for £1,000 over fears for his safety.

The dog has escaped from the house a number of times and run onto the main road.

The pooch has had three near death experiences in a matter of weeks, leaving Katie fearing that he could come to harm.

The dog has also bitten another dog, and a vet had advised that he could be a risk to people.

Katie was left feeling she had no choice but to rehome Bear as she didn’t want any harm to come to him or her children and other
animals.

A representative for the star told Mirror Online: “Yes she’s had to give Bear away because he kept running onto the road and he had bitten another dog.

“He had to go to the vets but because he was a risk to people they decided to give him back to the breeder. The vet advised this.

Katie wouldn’t have wanted anything to happen to anyone, animals or children.”

Despite Bear going to a new home, Katie’s mansion will still be home to a number of her furry friends.

The mum-of-five will still have Bear’s half-sister Sparkle, a Sphynx cat named Hagrid and five horses.

Last month, Bear is said to have been saved by a police officer after escaping from the house.

The Sun reported that the pup was close to the A24 in Sussex when he was scooped up by an officer and taken home.

Bear has gone off on his own and wandered close to a dual carriageway on another two occasions.

A source at the time said Katie needed to make her garden more secure.

They added: “Luckily motorists spotted the dogs and drove carefully while they were loose and a policeman was on hand to help out.”
