EUROSTAR passengers are battling three-hour queues at London St Pancreas after a person was hit by a train near Lille, France.
Thousands of fed-up tourists faced a Bank Holiday nightmare as delays and cancellations led to massive crowds in London, Paris, and Brussels.
Eurostar spokesperson said: “Following the earlier fatality involving ES9028, all upcoming departures are likely to incur delays, including those from Brussels.
“As many trains as possible will be rerouted via the non-high speed line until the emergency services have given the all-clear.
“We currently advise not to travel unless absolutely necessary.”
One traveller wrote: “I’ve seen some huge queues for the Eurostar but I’ve never seen it snake all the way through St Pancras and end up outside.”
