Holly Willoughby forced to miss a SECOND day of This Morning through illness as Rochelle Humes steps in again

HOLLY Willoughby is so unwell she will miss a second day hosting This Morning, The Sun Online can reveal.

Stand-in host Rochelle Humes has again been rushed to the broadcaster’s west London studios to fill in alongside Phillip Schofield on the daytime hit.

ITV told us today that Holly would not be appearing, having failed to recover enough from the sickness she suffered yesterday to return to presenting duties.

Phillip is expected to open today’s show by announcing that the 38-year-old will be spending the special Valentine’s Day edition of the show at home.

With Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford hosting as usual on Friday, Holly won’t be back on screens until Monday, though she is set to host Dancing On Ice on Sunday.

Yesterday, Phillip told This Morning viewers: “Holly is poorly today. If you’ve been watching through the week you’d know she’s been on a sort of downward spiral.

It started on Dancing On Ice and she wasn’t really brilliant on Sunday and it’s kind of got worse and worse and worse.”

The 56-year-old added: “Finally, she’s fallen over. She’s staying home today.

Get well soon. She’s not going to be watching but get well soon.”

Rochelle, 29, who filled in for Holly on This Morning while she hosted I’m A Celebrity with Declan Donnelly in November, also sent good wishes to Holly.

Sun Online readers have reacted to the news with horror, with one writing: “Worst news ever.”

Others posted on our Facebook page: “Absolutely heartbroken” and “Get better soon Holly.”
