HOLLY Willougby ignored the drama surrounding Gemma Collins on Dancing on Ice this evening as she posted a picture of her daughter with Didi Conn.
The presenter, who was at the centre of the row last week after she branded the Towie star ‘unprofessional’, made no reference to tonight’s screaming row between Gemma and Jason Gardiner and instead enjoyed a touching family moment.
Sharing a shot of her daughter Belle hand in hand with Grease legend Didi, she wrote: “My little pink lady with an actual pink lady!!!
“Highlight of the night possible my life… Didi Conn you are a truly lovely lady… #frenchie #pinkladies.”
It came after a highly dramatic evening which saw Gemma launch into a furious row with the judge following her performance, telling him to “shut up” and that he was “boring”
She also accused Jason of selling stories on her, before the 47-year-old hit back and branded her a “brat”.
As Gemma, 37, left the ice, a bemused Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield introduced the next skater – Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton – but Holly couldn’t help making a cheeky quip about Gemma’s outburst.
The 37-year-old said: “Well it is time for the final skating star of the night and it’s our Pussycat Doll.
“Lets get the inside story as she skates to a song from West Side Story, nobody sold that story that’s for sure.”
Holly’s comments come after she questioned Gemma’s professionalism on This Morning earlier in the week.
She had said: “The thing is I really love Gemma, you know I’m a big fan of Gemma’s and I think she’s great on the show, I do, but I think there has to be a little bit of professionalism that comes into any work you do.
“Just a bit of pride in your work and you just shouldn’t do that.”
Gemma, who blamed her poor performance on her stressful week, initially demanded an apology from Holly, but later claimed she didn’t have issue with the presenter.
She told The Sun Online: She said: “I absolutely love Holly and Phil. I don’t know what went on there, they have been given false information.
If I was in their position and someone said ‘this girl has left the show, she’s not turned up for rehearsals and that’ I would have said the same thing. I am not blaming Holly, I am not blaming Phil.
“I think deep in their hearts they know it’s not true. Holly said ‘ I love the GC’ and she does. Phil is always lovely to me.
“They are like legends on morning TV. I would never disrespect them or be rude to them. I want to be sitting in their seat that day!”
