Gemma Collins is in high spirits as she steps out with Dancing on Ice partner Matt Evers

GEMMA Collins revealed her impressive weight loss alongside DOI partner Matt Evers

Gemma Collins looked in high spirits as she arrived at Dancing On Ice rehearsals alongside professional skating partner, Matt Evers.

Following their successful debut on the show on Sunday night, it’s no wonder the dancing duo looked so happy after they went through to the next round.

Stepping away from her usually glamorous persona, the 37 year old was rehearsal ready in black Calvin Klein leggings and a comfy jumper.

Hiding her eyes behind large sunglasses, the Essex beauty appeared to go makeup free for the occasion as she let her trademark blonde hair sit naturally.

Chatting away, it’s clear Gemma and Matt’s friendship extends away from the ice rink as he supports her on and off the ITV show.

Speaking to The Sun, Matt opened up on Gemma’s recent weight loss as she embarks on two hours of training, three times a week

Gemma has never really been exposed to going to the gym, that’s not what her passion is,” Matt claimed.

“So when we first started out we went from 15 mins on the ice, before having to sit down and have a break. Each week we would build it up and after five weeks I held her hands and said, ‘Babes you do realise you’ve done 2 hours straight.’

“Now she is doing 2 hours training 3 times a week, burning at least 1,000 calories a time. Then there’s a full studio day on Sunday and choreography on Monday which is even longer.

Ans speaking about James Argent’s girlfriend’s growing confidence, he gushed: “The confidence that she has since she has been losing the weight – she feels sexier. Last week at the costume fittings the wardrobe team had to take off four inches from her waist from where she was before Christmas. It’s just incredible.

“She is really adamant about giving the curvier girls the motivation to get up off that couch for a little bit and just get moving. She wants to be a role model for that.”

Dancing on Ice continues on ITV every Sunday at 6pm.
