Gemma Collins accuses Dancing On Ice judges of ‘body shaming’ as she lashes out at NTAs

The TOWIE star appeared on the National Television Awards red carpet with boyfriend James Argent when she made the comments

Gemma Collins hit out at the Dancing On Ice judges this evening as she blasted them for “body shaming”.

The TOWIE star became embroiled in an awkward row with Jason Gardiner on the show live on Sunday after accusing him of “selling stories of her”.

Appearing at the National Television Awards this evening alongside boyfriend James Argent, she didn’t keep quiet about her unhappiness surrounding Jason’s remarks.

She also insisted that she would focus more on ice skating rather than the stories branding her a diva.

“This week I’ve got to let my feet do the talking,” she said on the red carpet. “To be honest, I do agree with the judges comments.”

But she made sure to quip: “Less of the body shaming though, please! I might be a big girl but that doesn’t mean I can’t leave the house.

“Arg is loving this candy!”

Gemma spent the entire day getting ready – meaning she sacked off training with her professional skating partner Matt Evers to beautify herself.

Supportive boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent documented The GC’s preparations as she had her nails done at a salon.

Gemma shocked the audience on Sunday as she launched into a verbal attack on Jason, branding him “boring” after he told she was coming across as a “brat”.

She has refused to apologise after the showdown, claiming Jason was “selling stories” on her and blaming the slew of reports about her diva behaviour for her poor performance on the rink.

She’s due to run in to Jason tonight – along with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who were forced to intervene on Sunday night to stop Gemma’s ranting.
