Emmerdale fans fear for Debbie Dingle as James Tate ‘arrives’ in the Dales

EMMERDALE fans are convinced James Tate has arrived in the Dales.

Emmerdale viewers feared for Debbie Dingle during Tuesday’s episode, as they believed James Tate had arrived.

Richard, played by actor Paul Luebke, headed over to the garage ran by Debbie and her father Cain Dingle to pick up his car.

But Debbie had to tell him it wasn’t ready, informing him to return later.

Richard showed an interest in Debbie, with her also appearing flustered by their meeting.

When he returned for his car, Cain looked on as the pair had a little flirt with Richard clearly keen on Charley Webb’s character.

Her gran Faith Dingle then interrupted them, encouraging her to take a chance on him following her heartbreak with Joe Tate.

Joe jilted her at the alter on her wedding day, with Debbie since struggling to cope.

But what Debbie doesn’t know is that Joe is dead, having been killed by Graham Foster.

Now, fans are convinced there’s more to the mystery Richard than meets the eye.

They believe he is the son of villain Kim Tate, James, and that he’s now in the Dales.

One fan said: “I don’t know why I’m thinking this but I wonder if that guy at the garage is James Tate?”

A third agreed, tweeting about the scene: “I bet £5 that is James Tate.”
