EastEnders’ Dot Branning’s evil granddaughter Dotty Cotton looks unrecognisable nine years later – as fans are convinced she will return to ‘steal her millions’

EASTENDERS’ youngest ever villain Dotty Cotton looks unrecognisable, nine years after leaving Walford.

The evil granddaughter of Dot Branning – who was played by actress Molly Conlin in the BBC soap – made Bobby Beale’s accidental murder looked like child’s play when she helped her dad Nasty Nick try to kill Dot when she was just seven.

In the end she turned on her evil dad and poisoned him to stop him killing Dot.

Actress Molly, now 18, has recently returned to acting after a brief break for her schooling and she looks unrecognisable.

Instead of looking like EastEnders’ version of Wednesday Adams as she did in character as Dotty, Molly looks more like a Kardashian with her flawless make-up skills.

Posing on her Instagram account she shows off her gym honed body and glamorous lifestyle.

Since leaving EastEnders in 2010, Molly has had roles in CBBC’s Horrible Histories and as Gladys in Blandings.

And with the news Dot has become a millionaire after Dr Legg left her his millions in his will, Dot said she wanted to treat her granddaughter with her newfound wealth

According to fans a comeback could be on the cards.

They’re convinced her being mentioned on Friday night’s episode means Dotty will return to Albert Square intent on picking up where her dad left off.

One wrote: “EastEnders should bring back Dotty so she can con Dot out of her money.”

A second said: “It would be great to see Dotty again even though she will be played by a different actress.

“She could be just as devious as her dad and will probably try to get money out of Dot like how Nick used to do after hearing that her Grandmother is a millionaire.”

Another added on DS Forums: “I’m fed up of people messing Dot around though! Bring her back, but reformed.”
