A PENSIONER who was knifed as he was walked his dog next to a wildlife park has died from his injuries three months later.
Lewis Stone, 71, was attacked near the Borth Wild Animal Kingdom in February in a horror broad daylight attack.
He was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries but police today confirmed he had passed away.
A spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police can sadly confirm the death of Lewis Stone, following an incident in Borth on February 28, 2019.
“Mr Stone, aged 71, was walking his dog near the Borth Wildlife Kingdom when he was stabbed. He passed away this week.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this tragic time.”
David Kenneth Fleet has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife.
