Dancing On Ice’s Brian McFadden exits after horror fall terrifies presenters

Brian McFadden has been eliminated from Dancing On Ice at the final hurdle before the final.

The former Westlife singer came up against Saara Aalto in the dreaded skate-off in front of the judges.

Brian came agonisingly close to reaching the last live show but lost out to the X Factor star.

There was drama in the skate-off when Brian dropped his partner Alex Murphy on the ice.

Terrified Phillip Schofield shouted: “Can I just check to make sure. Everything okay? Are you sure?”

Alex was shaken but seemed unharmed by the fall and was picked up by Brian.

Presenter Holly Willoughby said: “We all felt that guy you gave her when you picked her up off the ice.”

Brian, who seemed lost for words, said: “It’s been amazing, we’ve had such a great time

The at risk couples completed their THIRD skate of the evening after performing two routines before the skate-off.

Saara joined ex-Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan and Love Island hunk Wes Nelson in the final.

Shocked Dancing On Ice viewers took to Twitter after the skate-off.

One viewer said: “I think that fall just cost Brian a place in the final bless him”

“My heart breaks for @BrianMcFadden #DancingonIceyou should have been in the finale,” added another.

A third said: Aw broke my heart for Brian”

James was ecstatic after finding out that he had secured a place in the final.

Wes screamed with joy and picked up his skating partner Vanessa Bauer after discovering his fate.

The three remaining couples have a week to prepare before facing off in next Sunday’s live final.
