Coronation Street’s ‘vile’ Nick Tilsley revealed to have stolen Audrey’s £80k savings

Nick allowed his grandmother to blame her dead partner Lewis as he greedily kept all of the cash in his gym bag

Nick Tilsley was shockingly revealed as the thief who stole Audrey Roberts’ £80,000 savings.

Coronation Street fans were left seething with rage this evening as Audrey’s grandson Nick opened up his gym bag with all the money.

The factory owner has been brazenly lying to Audrey and insisting that the culprit is her dead partner Lewis Archer.

After going to the funeral with Audrey and mum Gail, he finally arrived back home to girlfriend Leanne and told her what had transpired that day.

Revealing that Audrey has accused Claudia of stealing the money, he added: “You know, if Claudia did take it she would be hard-pressed to spend the cash that quickly. That’s if it was taken out in cash…

“That’s the challenge, isn’t it? Laundering it and making it look legit.”

Leanne quickly lost interest as she turned to the laundry but added: “I wonder what £80,000 looks like? Flippin’ heck.”

In the other room, however, Nick showed just what it did look like.

“Yeah, I wonder,” Nick said as he zipped open the gym bag to give viewers a peek at the wads of cash stuffed inside.

When will Audrey find out the truth? And will she find out the truth?
