Brian Harvey arrested outside home as singer complains ‘the cuffs are too tight’

Brian Harvey has tonight been arrested outside his home in Walthamstow, North London.

The former East 17 singer posted a video to his Youtube account which showed police talking to him while he was held in handcuffs.

The footage is titled ‘Me Arrested’ and was posted at around 10pm. It has already had over three thousand views.

In the two-minute video he is seen talking with cops while his pal films it.

In it Harvey explains why he believes he’s been arrested.

It’s for malicious communication. These cuffs are tight man,” says the song writer in a trademark shiny silver cap.

The police officer then loosens them as Harvey says “they’re cutting to the bone”.

Another policeman then says he is being taken into custody, before they have a conversation about the low battery on Harvey’s phone.

Earlier in the week Harvey posted a suggestive video to a female fan where he uses two bananas.

Harvey replies to the fan with a number of derogatory comments and then goes on to say that she is ‘lonely’ and that his banana may help.

Harvey then aims another few tirades against the fan.

Harvey was the frontman for boy band East 17 during the nineties.

They had 18 top-20 singles during the decade and were often heralded as the UK’s ‘best boy band’, with fans being drawn to their ‘bad boy’ image.

The group have sold over 18 million albums worldwide and had a Christmas number one in 1994 with their biggest selling single, Stay Another Day.
