Amy quits Love Island after dramatic double dumping.
Amy Hart has quit the Love Island villa just days after being dumped by Curtis Pritchard, according to The Sun.
Last week, dancer Curtis had his head turned by newbie Jourdan Riane, leaving Amy heartbroken.
Amy had stayed loyal to Curtis while in Casa Amor, even admitting she’d fallen in love with him.
A source close to the air hostess told the publication: “It was Amy’s decision to walk from the villa as she felt she had gotten as much as she could from the experience.
“She fell in love, had her heart broken and couldn’t stand the thought of seeing Curtis crack on with other girls while under the same roof as her.
“She was given therapy and support from the producers at ITV and they felt she was emotionally sound enough to make her own decision. They would never dream of keeping someone in there if they weren’t happy about it.”
During last night’s episode, Amy was forced to watch as Maura Higgins cracked onto Curtis.
The ring girl admitted her feelings for Curtis last week and asked him to teach her how to dance in a bid to get close to him.
Tonight’s episode will see a dramatic double dumping, so it seems a safe bet that Curtis and Amy are not two of the islanders who are sent packing.
However that means that the villa will have a few spare beds with now five islanders leaving.
A show source reportedly added: “Amy has decided to leave the villa after she didn’t find love with Curtis.
“She is a strong woman who knows her own mind and the show has given her the confidence to give finding love on the outside a go.”
Amy and Curtis had been coupled up since the start and seemed set to last on the outside too.
It’s likely that Amy’s exit from the villa will be aired in tomorrow night’s episode.
