BIG Brother star Jade Goody begged to be euthanised before her tragic death from cervical cancer.
The reality star passed away in March 2009 at the age of just 27.
Jade was diagnosed in August 2008 while appearing in the Indian version of Big Brother, Bigg Boss.
Now, her mum Jackiey Budden has said her daughter was in so much pain in her final days she asked to be euthanised.
In a new Channel 4 documentary which airs tonight, Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain, Jackiey recalls her daughter’s painful final weeks.
She says: “She wanted to go to Switzerland to have the injection. She kept telling me and Jack all the time.”
Jackiey recently found one of Jade’s final diaries, where she made notes about her euthanasia plans.
However, her grieving mum says doctors felt the reality star was too ill to travel at that time.
Jade, who was married to Jack Tweed at the time of her death, slipped into a coma and passed away on Mother’s Day 2009.
But Jackiey made sure her two sons, Bobby, then four, and Freddie, then five, were able to see her one last time.
She recalled: “She was in a coma but she still had her ears so I got the boys to do Mother’s Day.
“The day before Mother’s Day we did face painting and I got the boys to talk to her.”
Th father of Jade’s children is Jeff Brazier, who previously revealed she had told him to tell their boys she had “turned into a star” when she died.
Jeff, 39, was the one who had to break to news to the children.
Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain airs tonight, Wednesday August 7 at 9pm on Channel 4.
