American Pie star Jason Biggs’ wife reveals she DROPPED their five-year-old son on his head

THE wife of American Pie star Jason Biggs has shared details of her son’s harrowing accident that saw him fracture his skill and end up in intensive care.

Actress and author Jenny Mollen, 39, took to Instagram to tell fans about the medical emergency involving five-year-old Sid.

She began the emotional post: “On Saturday evening, I dropped my son on his head causing him to fracture his skull and landing him in the intensive care unit.

“I am forever grateful to Lenox Hill Downtown and NYP Hospital for their immediate response and aid – a big thanks to all the nurses, neurologists and brave women that keep things clean.

“Not sure how this post turned into an Oscars acceptance speech, but Jason Biggs, thank god for you! Thank god, thank god, thank god.

“It has been a traumatic week but Sid is home now and taking things slowly and recovering nicely. He’s eating lots of chocolate dipped ice cream cones.

My heart goes out to all the parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position. You are not alone…”

Several celebrity friends of Jenny and husband Jason reached out to share their best wishes for the youngster, including The Office’s Angela Kinsey and Marvel actress Krysten Ritter.

And several fans reached out too, with one writing: “That is so scary, Jenny. I am glad to hear Sid is okay and I wish him the speediest recovery.”

“Accidents happen but you are a fantastic mum so don’t forget it,” said another. “Wishing you and your son the best.”

The scary incident comes just months after Jenny revealed her one-year-old son Lazlo had been bitten by a dog, leaving he completely traumatised.

“Lazlo was bitten by a dog on Thanksgiving,” she wrote. “He’s totally fine and completely okay. I’ve just been having a mental breakdown over it as a mum.

“But tomorrow marks a week since it happened so I’ll have to pull my s*** together. So I wrote about it and now I’m feeling better and moving on.”

Jenny and Jason tied the knot in 2008 after a whirlwind romance that saw the pair get engaged just over six months of dating, having met on the set of film My Best Friend’s Girl.
